Former running guard Jason Wright joined the Washington football team as president

The Washington football team made a historic decision to appoint Jason Wright as its president. He was the first black team president in NFL history.

Wright, a 38 year old running guard in the NFL, has become the youngest team president in the league and the fourth president to have a player experience. His responsibilities include team operations, finance and marketing.

Wright spent seven years in San Francisco 49ers jersey, Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland brown and Arizona cardinals jerseys. He was cardinal captain and employee union representative during the labor dispute in 2011. After retiring, he received an MBA from the University of Chicago, and then worked at McKinsey as a partner in the operations consulting division.

Wright will be responsible for the commercial operation of the team, while coach Ron Rivera will be responsible for all game related decisions. They report directly to their boss, Dan Snyder.

The Washington football team jerseys is in the process of transformation. The team abandoned its long used name this year. In addition, the team must improve its culture. Wright’s arrival will allow Rivera to focus on the players and game management. Washington will hope that the combination of the two will bring the team back to the top.
